Doorways

Doorways is an homage to the world building of HP Lovecraft and the many writers and artists that have continued to build his mythos.
The basic message of the project is that there are "monsters" constantly waiting below the surface of our reality and each piece captures the moment they break through.
Each piece is 10cm tall and are sculpted in 3d software (3ds Max and Blender) and then 3d printed on a Printrbot Simple Metal. Each piece is painted in acrylics and based on an "antiqued" wooden base.
